Toruń Stadium Miejski in Toruń, Poland, is a premier venue with plans to begin hosting football matches at the Ekstraklasa level—formerly known as Liga Polska—which is the nation’s top football division. To make this happen, the stadium needed a new lighting system that would deliver lux levels necessary for television broadcasts of Ekstraklasa matches. Having worked together on a number of projects since 2006, the Municipal Sports Centre in Toruń again chose to partner with Musco due to the established trust and Musco’s ability to overcome a number of challenges associated with the project.

• The stadium achieved the necessary 1,600 lux levels to broadcast top division matches while also maintaining the intimate character it has always offered players and spectators.
• Installation was streamlined and cost effective by utilizing the existing mast foundations, a result of Musco’s total system design that included custom masts that could adapt to the existing foundations and meet the height limitations
  of 32 meters.
• The unique features of the stadium’s grandstand were able to be retained with customized mounting structures for the roof of the grandstand, which helped achieve necessary lux levels and uniformity on the pitch without disturbing the aesthetics of the architecture.
